Have you got another computer or a friends computer that you could plug the USB realtone cable into to see if it loads the driver correctly on another machine? So there is a chance your cable is defective. If you don't see the realtone cable as a microphone in the recording devices, I suspect it goes back to your problem loading the device driver correctly. When you go to windows recording devices (easiest way is right click on sound icon in lower right corner of screen) do you see a microphone called Rocksmith USB Guitar Adapter? When I choose properties for that device one of the tabs is Listen and you can check if the cable is working by choosing to listen to the device just through windows. This is likely the root of all your problems.īut, you never really told me.
